The Pharmacy Clerk supports the pharmacy team by handling administrative tasks, assisting with inventory management, and providing customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of prescription orders and over-the-counter medications.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering and restocking products.
- Provide customer service by answering questions and directing inquiries to pharmacists as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions and process payments.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean and organized, adhering to safety and health regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in pharmacy practices preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication.
