Job Overview - Pharmacy Manager:
Step into a key leadership role as a Pharmacy Manager with our client in East Hartford, CT, overseeing pharmacy operations in a retail setting, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional patient care and service.

Compensation: $60 - $64/hour
Location: East Hartford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends, nights, or holidays)

Responsibilities as the Pharmacy Manager:

• Prescription Verification: Accurately verify prescriptions for patients, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
• Consultation: Provide expert advice and consultations to patients regarding medications, potential side effects, and treatment plans.
• Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, including inventory control, ordering medications, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy.
• Management: Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians, ensuring they follow proper protocols and assist in daily tasks efficiently.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining up-to-date records and documentation.

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Manager:

• Experience: 2+ years of Pharmacist experience (retail pharmacy experience is acceptable).
• Licensure: Active Connecticut Pharmacist license required.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead a team of pharmacy technicians.
• Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, and relevant state and federal regulations.
