Summary:
Works under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy manager to support dispensing functions, pharmacy operational maintenance activities, inventory management, patient care activities, and to meet regulatory compliance. Serves as a trainer and mentor to pharmacy technician and students.
Responsibilities:
Performs cross functional duties of Pharmacy Technician I.Performs activities related to pharmacy technician scope of practice.Maintains automated dispensing systems as needed.Supports the pharmacy manager with staff training and onboarding.Provides patient assistance program support by assisting with documentation requirements, copay assistance, and other duties as necessary or assigned.Supports pharmacy manager and pharmacist with clerical and administrative functions.
