job is ON - SITE. $5,000 sign on bonus! FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 4
Schedule: Staff member will work both 1st shift (0630-1500) and 2nd
shift (1400-2230) with the option of every weekend, every other weekend
or every third weekend. Staff member will work 2 holidays per year Job
Summary: Following established policies and procedures, under the direct
supervision of a pharmacist, prepares and distributes medication and
performs functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy
department. Participates in training new staff. Functions within the
guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy
Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a
hospital pharmacy department is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High
School diploma or equivalent is required.TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Graduate
of an accredited pharmacy technician-training program is
preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registration
as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained
within 12 months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23
must have applied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until
3/31/24 to obtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
(CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam
(PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is
