Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine is a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center provides acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder. We are looking for a Behavioral Health / Mental Health Tech to join our team! A Behavioral Health Tech / Mental Health Tech helps provide care for patients who have mental health issues.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacists in the performance of technical and clerical duties involved in the daily operations of the Pharmacy, as allowed by law and/or regulation.
MAJORDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter and maintain patient information in the pharmacy system
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A registered Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) in Tennessee
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and medication administration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
