SUMMARY
Responsible to Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital Pharmacy Services for the coordination and integration of the department activities as related to third party payer billing and reimbursement and day to day issues related to the pharmacy information system. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.
Salary Range: $16.49 - $17.39

Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a college or technical training program in pharmacy practice. Requires two or more years experience on a similar job or jobs with progressively increasing responsibility in this or another hospital or healthcare facility.
- Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, Inc. required or obtain certification within 18 months of employment in position.
Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
- Serves as an internal resource to support, maintain, coordinate, and implement system functionality.
- Develops and provides accurate and timely management reports.
- Coordinates user education and training.
- Processes billing and performs all related functions.
- Prepares medications/infusion/enteral products pursuant to legal regulations and departmental policy and procedure.
- Maintains timely and consistent communication with the pharmacist.
- Participates in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
