Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and Input Orders: Interpret and input medication orders into our computerized medication order system, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met.
• Audit Input: Review and audit input against documentation, making corrections as needed.
• Perform Calculations: Conduct drug calculations, including basic math conversions (e.g., milligrams).
• Resolve Denials: Address issues related to denials identified through adjudication and follow up on claims in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Knowledge Maintenance: Stay current on Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
• Reporting: Produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to both external and internal customers in line with company values.
• Assist Pharmacist: May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned, assisting in various areas of the pharmacy as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous pharmacy-related experience is preferred.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and the metric system; ability to operate a computer.
• Licenses/Certifications: Must have a valid NH Pharmacy Technician License as required by state regulations.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, strong team player, customer service-oriented, and effective oral communication skills.
