Pay From: $22 - $26 per hour
MUST:
3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
Experience working in a retail pharmacy a must
Experience assisting patients on phone and in person
Experience processing refills
Strong computer skills and ability to verify insurance
Experience following up on rejected prescriptions
Strong customer service skills
Comfortable working in a very fast paced environment
Active Pharm Tech license in the state of VA
If not certified in the state of Maryland must be nationally certified and willing to become state certified
DUTIES:
The Pharmacy Technicians duties include but are not limited to the following:
Greet patients in person and over the phone in a very high volume setting
Process prescriptions
Verify insurance
Follow up with insurance companies on rejected prescriptions
Document patient information in computer system
Provide customer service support
