About the Job
Rome Health is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in the preparation and delivery of medications. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to work as a team. Basic computer skills and ability to learn computer programs and applications required to perform pharmacy services tasks.
Technicians
-Assist in maintaining records and drug inventories.
-Maintain dispensing and store room areas in neat, clean, and stocked condition for safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy department.
-Assist with appropriate inventory levels and procurement of medications required to provide safe patient care.
-Monitor inventory for outdated products on a monthly basis.
-Perform inspections on units to ensure adequate stock and dated products are available for use.
-Monitor temperatures and outdates of all MDVs on units.
-Monitor kits and ensure cartfill is completed timely and accurately.
Departmental hours are M-F 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 7:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional deviations from departmental hours may be required under special circumstances in order to deliver necessary pharmaceutical services(i.e. Scheduled downtimes/upgrades).
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
At minimum 1 year of experience working in a retail Pharmacy.
Hours may vary. Will be required to work weekends/holidays/nights/on-call shifts.
