Job Summary and Qualifications

The Pharmacy Technician Specialist - Chemotherapy is trained and proficient in the sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques required for the handling of hazardous drugs. The technician primarily works in the IV room compounding hazardous drug products for hospitals with significant oncology programs. 

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED
• State License Pharmacy Intern, or State Registration Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB Certification required
• Knowledgeable and experienced in requirements of Sterile nonhazardous USP 797 and Sterile Chemo compounding USP 800.
