Phil Long Maintenance Technician II

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Pay Range: $24-$29 per hour plus quarterly bonuses of up to $900 per quarter

Summary:
The Maintenance Technician II position provides journeyman level maintenance support to the
Phil Long Group. This includes a wide range of skilled and unskilled repairs, maintenance,
conditioning and remodeling of equipment and facilities. This involves interacting directly with 3rd
party vendors as well as with Phil Long Employees and Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports to Maintenance Superintendent and Senior Technicians.
• Log work orders and ensure timely follow-up of issues before and after completion.
• Perform maintenance tasks with a positive attitude and respectful disposition.
• Ensure repairs are performed according to instructions and industry best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to Tier 1 Technicians.
• Assist team in performing repairs and maintenance.
• Assist team in snow removal and dealer lot maintenance.
• Operate plow trucks and heavy machinery where qualified and licensed.
• Tow and backup up to 20' open and covered trailers.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to Maintenance Superintendent and Executive team.
• Provide after hours on-call support.
• Ability to work early, late, and weekends for critical maintenance and repairs.

Education/Requirements/Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years' experience in a related field.
• 1-2 years' experience in automotive shop equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
