Position Summary:
We are looking for a professional and friendly Phone Attendant to handle incoming calls, answer client inquiries, and assist with scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with clients, solving problems efficiently, and maintaining a positive attitude over the phone.
Key Job duties
- Answer and manage incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist clients with inquiries, provide basic information about services, and direct calls as needed
- Schedule and confirm appointments for tax preparers and other staff members
- Handle client concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate team member for resolution
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and update appointment schedules
- Provide clients with a positive experience, ensuring their needs are addressed efficiently
- Support administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry and appointment reminders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a phone attendant, customer service, or similar role preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scheduling software)
- A positive, friendly, and patient attitude when dealing with clients
