PHP Programmer/Analyst - Ward Trucking, LLC

JOB TITLE: PHP Programmer/Analyst

REPORTS TO: Director of Technology

OVERVIEW OF ROLE: Support of application software and develop new application systems as required. Programming will improve productivity, reduce costs and provide information for use by internal and/or external customers. Responsible for Application Development in the following areas: PHP programming. Ensure the customer is always serviced first by meeting the needs of various departments with programming assistance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define from the project sponsor the actual output needed and how we will get the information

Project analysis

On call support of programming problems

Communicate Project status

Documentation of software

Monitor Changes and Problems

Write/debug/analyze applicable programming code

Program in PHP on the IBM As400. The framework is Zend.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of five years’ experience in the aforementioned programming language.

Must have good communication skills.

Must be able to install software as required.

Must be a team player working with all departments and service centers.

Ability to work required hours and travel if necessary.

RPG programming experience is a bonus, however not required.
