MUSC Health – Orangeburg is seeking a BC/BE Physiatrist for the full-time medical director role in Orangeburg, SC.  The chosen candidate will be part of a team working to provide comprehensive care in the community.

As a partner and collaborator with our academic medical center, you’ll have access to advanced technologies such as specialty and sub-specialty diagnostic support, and direct affiliation with clinical centers of excellence, all to better empower you to increase and optimize care locally.

About the opportunity:

• Candidates must be BC/BE in Physiatry
• Eligible for South Carolina Licensure
• The team is made up of one other FT physiatrist, rehab nursing, PT, OT, SLP, and case management. Routine Hospitalist consultation and specialty consultative services are available as needed.
• Work is inpatient.
• Experience with general inpatient rehab care, including neurological, musculoskeletal, amputation, general medical conditions, team coordination and effective communication, and CMS inpatient rehab policies.
