Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the ESS and CCTV network maintenance
- Install, maintain, and assist with the procurement of all PSE, ESS and CCTV components including but not limited to: ACS readers, ESS IT equipment, X-09, CDX-09, X-10, CDX-10 electronic locks, Simplex 900, Simplex 1000 series locks and Cipher locks
- Conduct the installation of ESS devices compatible with the current ESS infrastructure
- Ensure PHYSEC Vault is properly stocked and maintained in a clean and organized manner
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace inoperable ESS devices
- Should an ESS device becomes inoperable, the contractor shall inform the PHYSEC Branch Leadership within 24 hours. Within two hours of notification, repair or replace devices identified by PHYSEC Branch Leadership as mission critical.
- Devices identified as routine by PHYSEC Branch Leadership will be repaired or replaced within 48 hours
- During a catastrophic failure of ESS due to natural disasters or power surges, the contractor may be allotted additional time to replace devices as approved by PHYSEC Branch Leadership.
- Conduct semi-annual testing of ESS devices. Testing includes Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Balance Magnetic Switches (BMS), and Motion Detectors for all secure spaces and SCIFs
Education: possess an Associate’s degree or five (5) years of specialized experience
Certification: Lenel Certified Professional (LGE-Core, LGE-Access, and LGE- Enterprise)
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience
Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance level
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb a ladder and be familiar with UL Standards
- Knowledge of the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g., SIPR, NIPR and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) networks), and the Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity rules and regulatory authorities to develop and implement policies and planning concepts, and project management methods
- Knowledge of governing laws, regulations, precedents, and directives governing DoD security programs (e.g. information, personnel, physical, industrial, etc.)
- Knowledge and perspective of the operational, procedural, and technical standards that achieve interoperability with other non-DoD Federal Government agencies
- Proficient in using basic Microsoft Office software applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access).
- Knowledge working with using Records Message Traffic (RMT) and the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS)
- Proficient in using personnel security processing tools, including the DoD personnel security system of record (e.g. JPAS, DISS, etc.) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP)
