Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and rendering physical therapy services to patients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status
resulting from injury, disease, or other causes; provide prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion. Work with patient in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Communicate and document results of treatment including patients’ progress toward established goals according to department’s
policies and procedures. The incumbent serves as a resource person for the team and the department; participates in orientation of new staff therapists, physicians and other health personnel. Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and
productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. The physical therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by Kansas state law.

Job Qualifications:
Experience:
? A strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook on PT and the ability to motivate patients into
pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way.
? Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and proven record of implementing these
plans safely and effectively.
? Must have professional or civic leadership experience.
? Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively
with patients, personnel, and support agencies.
? Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
? Must have the desire/ability to learn clinic software appropriate for the position.

Certificates and Licenses:
Physical Therapy license with Kansas Board of Nursing. BLS Certification.
