About the "Department"
- The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit implements a team approach, offering physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapies, social workers and 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care under the direction of a medical director who specializes in rehabilitation. The unit offers comfortable, spacious rooms designed to maximize each patient's rehabilitation potential. Therapy areas are conveniently located within the unit.
About The Career:
- The primary function of the Physical Therapist is to perform and analyze tests and measurements of disabilities resulting from disease, injury; to plan, implement and modify treatment programs; to direct and supervise physical therapy services; to participate in discharge planning; to pursue professional growth; assist with educational duties and perform administrative and other duties as required. Must comply with all aspects of the Colorado Physical Therapy Act in providing physical therapy services.
All About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or BS in related field plus certification or Master's or Doctorate Degree in P.T
- Must be graduate of Physical Therapy program accredited by the A.P.T.A.
- Must hold current licensure by State of Colorado as a P.T
- BLS Certification required
- Job knowledge requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and understanding of management practices. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally, and non-verbally, in a clear, concise manner
- The ability to make appropriate decisions based on fact and knowledge is required. The ability to perform detailed work required.
- The ability to work harmoniously with employees required. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and show good judgment. The ability to make decisions under pressure and deadlines required.
