About the Job
A Skilled Nursing Facility located in Levittown, PA has an immediate need for a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Type: Contract (Ongoing)
Location: Levittown, PA
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology
Requirements:
• PA State Physical Therapist Assistant License
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a short-term and/or Long-term rehab
• Solid knowledge of healthcare industry and related guidelines
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms-Display a sense of curiosity, enthusiasm and eagerness to understand business constraints, environment and impact on regulation for the healthcare industry.
• Excellent organization, analytical and time management skills
• Experience in strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
