Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Per Diem

Salary: Competitive at Up to $37 per hour

As a valued member of our team, you will:

• Collaborate closely with our Physical Therapists, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards within our state-of-the-art physical therapy department.
• Uphold our established departmental policies and procedures, while maintaining a professional and respectful dress code.
• Maintain an unwavering focus on resident safety during all therapy sessions, strictly adhering to our facility's safety precautions.
• Champion the use of safety equipment and supplies when handling resident transfers and movements.
• Guarantee that our physical therapy practices align with current, applicable regulations, ensuring the highest level of care.
• Execute your duties with utmost precision, following stringent infection control procedures and universal precautions.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of our residents during transitions to and from therapy areas.
• Keep our therapy spaces impeccably clean and safe, making certain that all essential equipment and supplies are readily available.
• Report any hazardous conditions or equipment promptly to protect the safety of our residents.
• Prioritize safety by wearing personal protective clothing when performing tasks that may involve exposure to blood or body fluids.
• Take responsibility for reporting missing or illegible labels or SDSs to your supervisor.

Requirements:

• Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida.
