Physical Therapist Assistant PTA FT LICENSED AS A PTA - Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

MUST HAVE THE 2 YEAR ASSOCIATES DEGREE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT PTA AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN YOUR STATE OR ELIGIBLE FOR LICENSURE.

Valley Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our patients. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for assisting in organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Physical Therapists to develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Assist in evaluating effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Record and document patient care services
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current VA State PTA License.
• Experience in Assisted Living settings preferred.
• Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
