Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - FULL TIME

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and function through personalized therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and interventions as directed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, providing timely feedback to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, equipment usage, and home care strategies.
- Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
