Cooney Helthcare and Rehabilitattion, located in Helena, MT, is looking for a committed and patient-focused, Physical Therapist Assistant to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions. You will offer effective and client-centered services that will enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities. The Helena area offers close proximity to ski resorts, lakes, hiking, National Parks, and outdoor activities galore. In Downtown Helena you can enjoy a walking street lined with cute boutiques and restaurants.

Physical Therapist Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Help Residents to improve their mobility.
- Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
- Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
- Completion of orientation required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
- Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
- Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
