Physical Therapist Assistant - Group Management Services

Aligned Chiropractic is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Willoughby, OH. Our team is composed of talented professionals who are determined to help as many people as possible attain optimal health through chiropractic and other natural forms of health care. As our PTA, your main responsibility will be to work under the guidance of certified Physical Therapists to provide supportive patient care for people recovering from injuries or illnesses.

What you’ll be doing:

• Follows the direction of the Physical Therapist for the treatment plan for patients.
• Take the patient through the treatment plan and document the progress and success of the patient.
• Call approved patients and schedules them for follow up appointments.
• Assist the PT by evaluating the progress of the patient and setting goals based on the treatment plan.
• Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide a proper treatment area.
• Responsible for keeping the equipment clean and orderly after every patient has been seen.
• Other duties as assigned

What we look for:

• Current Physical Therapist Licensure for state of Ohio
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Post surgical rehab experience is a plus!
• Excellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards
• Hands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively
• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
