NaphCare is hiring an experienced Physical Therapist like you at the Lewis Correctional Facility located in Buckeye, Arizona.
Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available!
Pay rates range from $53.00-$65.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Responsibilities:Responsibilities for Physical Therapist:
- Work cohesively with the HSA, DON and RN(s) in the coordination of the physical therapy delivery system, as well as other functions within the facility
- Use all functions and applications of TechCareTM relevant to the position with no supervision, and assist with staff training as requested
- Communicate effectively with clients, peers, and employees at all levels within the organization. Maintain clear lines of communication throughout issue-resolution processes
- Demonstrate personal performance based on professional practice standards, relevant statutes, rules and regulations and organizational criteria
- Provide physical therapy treatments and procedures
- Development of treatment plans
- Document progress of all treatment rendered
- Prepare all treatment areas and equipment for use
- Perform postural drainage, percussions and vibrations, and teach deep breathing exercises to treat respiratory conditions
- Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients as they practice exercises and functional activities
- Confer with healthcare staff and others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment
- Administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, massage, and heat, light, sound, water, and modality treatments, as required
- Observe patients during treatments to compile and evaluate data on patients’ responses and progress, and report
- Measure patients’ range of motion, body parts, and vital signs to determine the effects of treatment or for patient evaluations
- Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment
- Fit and train patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches
- Assist with transport of patients to and from the treatment area
- Clean and check work area and equipment after each treatment
- Assist patients with hygiene and daily living activities as needed
Qualifications for Physical Therapist:
- Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Arizona
- A valid CPR card
- A minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
