Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join the team at a growing manual therapy outpatient clinic! The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in manual therapy techniques. This individual will work closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their musculoskeletal condition, functional limitations, and treatment goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient preferences, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Implement manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, and manual stretching to address musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional training to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Educate patients about their condition, treatment options, home exercise programs, and strategies for preventing future injuries.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all clinical encounters accurately and timely.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education opportunities, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical skills and maintain compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state
- Strong clinical reasoning skills, critical thinking abilities, and evidence-based practice knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth, continuing education, and lifelong learning.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and basic computer skills.
