Duties:
- Provide quality care to patients by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results
- Establish physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with referring physicians
- Implement treatment based on evaluative findings and physician referral
- Perform all appropriate physical therapy procedures utilizing state of the art manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and functional training to help restore patients to their prior level of function.
- Administer adjunctive procedures such as therapeutic modalities and assistive device training to manage pain and enhance recovery
- Evaluate the effects of treatment/progress and modify care on an ongoing basis to maximize recovery
- Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing effective home exercise programs
- Document patient care services by charting in patient records
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to standard safety protocols.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical therapy program
- PT license in NY
- Experience working in an outpatient Musculo-skeletal practice a plus
- Full time
- 4, 10-hour days
- Up to $120,000 (depending on experience)
