Compensation: $80k to $90k per year, depending on experience/location

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist for a reputable clinic in for a reputable rehabilitation facility with locations in the following states: New Mexico, Arizona, California, Washington, Alaska, and Texas.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise staff, and contribute to case management. The role emphasizes positive interactions with facilities and clients, fostering strong professional relationships to enhance patient care. Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to state Practice Act laws governing Physical Therapists and supervision of staff.
Review and comply with the Clinical Operations Policies and Procedures Manual annually.
Complete all required Medicare compliance and OSHA training each year.
Evaluate, treat, and direct skilled treatment for patients needing physical therapy; document medical necessity clearly.
Maintain ongoing documentation of goals, progress, and medical necessity, ensuring timely completion of all required forms (e.g., pre-certifications, daily notes).
Communicate effectively with co-workers, physicians, patients, and third-party payers.
Attend facility meetings as directed by the Center Manager, including utilization review and disaster preparedness.
Complete continuing education courses to meet state licensure requirements.
Maintain current CPR certification.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Physical Therapy programs in the US
Graduates from non-CAPTE programs with equivalent education are welcome to apply
Current state licensure/registration as a physical therapist.
Strong leadership skills to supervise assistants and aides effectively.
Excellent organizational, time management, and clinical problem-solving abilities.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in clinical documentation and management reporting.
Fine motor skills for accurate writing and handling of therapeutic equipment.
