Overview:
Midwest Orthopaedic Center is now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedic position at Midwest Orthopaedic Center in Pekin, IL. There is flexibility to split time between the Pekin and Peoria clinics based on the preference of the candidate hired.
Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available. Candidates with 24+ hours of availability per week will also be considered.
Caseload:
The Physical Therapist hired will work with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses including non-operative sports medicine, acute and subacute, post-operative, total joint, and spine cases. The patient population is all ages.
Patient care is 1:1, with no double bookings. Full-time PTs should expect to treat 11-12 patients per day. PTs work with PTAs in a collaborative environment.
Our ideal candidate is dynamic, motivated, and team-oriented. We are seeking a candidate who strives to make a difference in their patients’ lives. New grad PTs are welcome. If hired for this role, the team will ensure that you are fully comfortable.
Schedule / Hours:
The clinic hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
The actual work schedule and hours for this position will be mutually determined based on candidate availability and the clinic needs. No weekends or holidays are required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Physical Therapists are paid a competitive salary based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive a yearly salary in the ballpark of $65,000. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.
Benefits include health insurance, prescription coverage, vision, dental, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, a uniform allowance, paid time off, paid holidays, a retirement plan, and annual profit sharing. Professional development is encouraged. This position includes a continuing education allowance of $1,700.00 per year. The CEU allowance can also be used to cover travel expenses for course/conference attendance. Medbridge HEP and CME included.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).
Eligible or currently licensed in Illinois for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
New Grad PTs will be considered. Prior experience is not required.
Full-time is preferred. Candidates with 24+ hours of availability per week will also be considered.
