Via Health Services has an opportunity to welcome a Physical Therapist to join our therapy department! Our therapy department is comprised of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, COTAs, and physical therapy assistants and collaborates with our restorative nursing services team to gain the best patient outcomes. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist with a passion for caring for others.

Via Health Services at Fleur Heights is an 89-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with memory support located in Des Moines, IA. At Via Health Services, it is our vision to create a warm and inviting community that provides exceptional care and service.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a PRN or Part Time Physical Therapist, you are an integral member of the resident-centered model care team. Your role will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with physical impairments or disabilities to enhance their movement and quality of life. Responsibilities include developing and implementing customized therapy plans to promote recovery, prevent further injury, and improve overall physical function of our residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current state licensure or certification as required.
SKILLS:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective treatment plans.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
