Location: Waco, TX

Shift: 12 HR Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients while advancing their own clinical skills through ongoing education. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and play a key role in improving patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient evaluations, develop and modify therapy goals, and implement treatment plans.
• Document clinical findings and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
• Continuously advance clinical skills through education and evidence-based practice.
• Maintain awareness of organizational and system goals, aligning personal and team activities to support these objectives.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to patients, visitors, and staff by maintaining strong face-to-face communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of work experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a physical therapy role.
• Physical Therapist (PT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
