Location: Various locations across Massachusetts
Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
- Help patients with exercises, stretches, and rehabilitation activities.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and self-care techniques.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe treatment environment.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
- State licensure or certification as a physical therapy assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
