We are searching for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant
Hours: Per Diem
Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: This PTA would cover primarily Fall River but could cover surrounding towns as needed
Travel: This position will require driving

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Registered Physical Therapist, work with patients to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the persons capabilities.
Qualifications:- An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Two (2) years of related experience required. Home care experience preferred.
- Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.
- CPR certification is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
