You will work with people who have trouble moving because of surgery or an injury and create a plan for effective treatment. This position is in charge of delivering physical therapy treatments to patients to help them feel less pain and move around better as well as developing their health and fitness plans. Our ideal candidate must be able to manage different types of patient issues while staying current on the most recent techniques and methods for treatment. Compensation:$60,000+ yearly
Responsibilities:- Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor
- Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient
- Review the data gathered from the patient's tests and examinations, then make recommendations based on your findings
- Collaborate with others in the medical field and seek their opinions
- Keep records of the patient's medical history and follow all rules, regulations, and protocols
- Follow a treatment plan using a range of therapeutic methods for each patient
- Talk to patients and assess their physical condition including any injuries or mobility issues
- Successful candidates will need strong analytical, communication, and observational skills
- Must have a current state license to practice in the state you reside in
- We require a bachelor’s degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Some experience working in a healthcare facility or clinic with patients is preferred
- Must pass the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
