Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the delivery of treatment programs and patient care.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is a plus but not required.
