Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program - MSJ+OCS
Monterey Spine & Joint is seeking motivated, dedicated and forward-thinking physical therapists to join our MSJ+OCS Residency Program. This intensive, 11-month-long program offers a unique blend of clinical practice, didactic learning, and mentorship, aimed at preparing residents for the Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist board examination and a successful career in orthopaedic physical therapy.
The residency position earns a competitive salary starting at $86,000 annually, depending on experience. We also offer great benefits and perks, including:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care under the guidance of experienced clinicians.
- Participate in structured didactic sessions, including lectures, seminars, and case studies.
- Engage in regular one-on-one mentorship with board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialists.
- Conduct and present research projects and case reports relevant to orthopaedic physical therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Attend and contribute to community outreach and professional development events.
 
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, or equivalent, from an accredited program
- Current Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain one in CA
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in orthopaedic physical therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
