Position Summary
Performs routine and complex tasks associated with one or more maintenance trades including construction/carpentry, plumbing, electrical maintenance, and general mechanics to provide the Hospital with safe, reliable structures, systems, and equipment consistent with specifications in local, state, and federal code. May specialize in the performance of a particular trade, but may be required to assist in other capacities due to variations in work load and staffing.
Job Responsibilities
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
- Disassembles electrical motors
- Estimates material requirements
- Observes functioning of installed equipment
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Two to three years of experience injob related field.
