The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is a premier academic children's hospital, nationally renowned for its clinical excellence, innovative research and commitment to training the next generation of Pediatricians and Pediatric sub-specialists. We are the only hospital in the Bronx exclusively dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the children in this community and beyond. The rankings are based on an extensive analysis of clinical and operational data collected from the hospitals, a reputation survey of Board Certified Pediatric specialists and information from sources such as the National Cancer Institute. The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at CHAM is seeking 2 Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologists at the Assistant/Associate and Professor level, on either the Clinician-Educator or Physician-Scientist track. We have active Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine Fellowship Programs, and in addition offer a well-equipped Bronchoscopy facility, PFT laboratory including cardio-pulmonary exercise stress testing and a 4 bed Sleep laboratory. Our division provides multidisciplinary services including Asthma Center, Technology Dependent Center, Sleep Center, Aero-digestive Center, BPD clinic, Neuromuscular clinic and a new Interstitial Lung Disease Program as part of the Childhood Interstitial Lung Disease Research Network. We are also in the planning process of a new Lung Transplant Center. In addition, there are several academic opportunities for clinical and translation research, quality improvement projects, education and teaching of Fellows, Residents and Medical Students. You will work on our Moses Campus in the Bronx while providing outreach services at one of our other facilities 1-2 days a week.
