Experienced Community Health Medical Leader Needed for Medical Director Position, in Sonoma County California:
Santa Rosa Community Health organization is looking for a Medical Director for their largest clinic in Sonoma County, that averages over 420 patient visits a day. This individual would have clinical leadership responsibilities of family medicine, pediatrics, womens health, behavioral health, HIV medicine, Addiction center, Optometry, Homeless center care and more. This individual would also be deeply involved in the organizations Family Medicine Residency program, recruitment & retention, staff development, staff meetings, patient safety, annual reviews, risk management committee, oversite of billings and be responsible for operational and financial performance of the clinic. The Medical Director will be teamed up with a Site Director, whom both only report to the CMO and CEO. This organization began in 1996 and now has 9 clinics, 500 employees, is a certified Patient Center Medical Home, and is a Federally Qualified Health Center.
Job Specifics:
Medical Director, partnered with Site Director, leading largest clinic for community health organization
Full-time position onsite, M-F, 8:15am 5:15pm, with 25-30% personal, clinic patient care, and 70-75% administration
Must have experience in cross-site functionality leadership and have led within a Community Healthcare site or Academic site
Need someone bought into culture, has ability to make and retain good relationships within and outside the organization, and must be a team player
Must have or be able to obtain a California license, DEA number and board certification
Compensation:
Base salary of $250,000 $290,000 with yearly increases between 2-4%
Medical, Dental, and Vision are covered 100% for employee, 65% for dependents and both are 100% covered for deductibles
403b with 3% contribution and goes up with tenure
25 days PTO, 11 Holidays, and 1 week paid CME
$50,000 retention bonus paid out over 3 years and paid relocation stipend
