Job Description:

A healthcare facility in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking dedicated Staff Physicians for their Adult Medicine clinic. The role involves providing comprehensive primary health care, including health promotion and disease prevention, to patients in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care efficiently.
• Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Utilize evidence-based clinical decisions.
• Work with electronic health records and other computer systems.
• Collaborate with the care team for specialized care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
• Valid Connecticut state licensure.
• Eligible for DEA and state narcotic registration.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with clinical documentation and quality measures.
• Proficiency with electronic health records.
• Resourceful problem-solving skills and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in an ambulatory or urgent care setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
