A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. In Putnam, Connecticut, experience the quaint charm of downtown with its antique shops, galleries, and enjoy outdoor events at Rotary Park for a delightful blend of cultural and recreational activities. This position entails a diverse case mix including general and colorectal, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, ortho, spine fusions, eyes, pacemakers, cardioversions, TEE, and GI, with no heads/neuro, traumas, or open hearts. Pediatric cases are over 1 year old and mostly ENT patients (T&A and M&T). The supervision ratio is 1/2.5, with 5 anesthesia sites and expected overtime. The charting is done with paper and pen. Credentialing takes 30-60 days with a CT license or 60-120 days without.
