Our hosptial is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Gastroenterology team. The Physician Assistant will report directly to the Chief of Gastroenterology and work closely with a team of gastroenterologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Collaboration and communication within the team are essential to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. Our Gastroenterology unit is known for its advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other minimally invasive techniques. The unit is dedicated to managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, from common disorders to complex diseases. Our team is committed to continuous education and staying abreast of the latest developments in the field.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. You will order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies. Additionally, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Performing various gastrointestinal procedures under the supervision of a gastroenterologist, educating patients and their families about gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventive care will be essential parts of your job. You will also provide follow-up care and monitor patients' progress, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and engage in clinical research as needed.
