Requirements:
- EMR: epic
- Skills required:
- Must be able to care for pre and post op thoracic surgery patients
- Must have an understanding of surgical oncology, specifically lung and esophageal cancers.
- Board Certification: If NP, must be: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC. If PA, must have AAPA recognized graduate master’s degree program as a physician assistant.
- License required: Yes, CA NP and furnishing license required
- DEA: Required CA with schedule 2
- Certifications required: BLS
- Minimum experience required:
- 1+ years PA experience in an outpatient surgical oncology practice
- Thoracic specific experience strongly preferred
