OPEN POSITION:
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Medical Dermatology
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- 4 Days per Week
- Monday to Thursday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
COMPENSATION:
- $120,000 to $130,000 Base Salary, negotiable based upon experience
- Generous Bonus Structure

LOCATION:
Montrose, Colorado
COMPANY PROFILE:
This private dermatology practice opened in 2012 and currently employs 3 dermatologists and 1 dermatology physician assistant. They operate out of a beautiful office that offers a bright and modern space with a separate Mohs suite and histotechnology laboratory. They provide medical, surgical/Mohs, and cosmetic dermatology services. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new APP will work with highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in a comfortable, modern outpatient private practice setting with ample support and resources, including an on-site laboratory.
The new APP will work in the area of medical dermatology, including but not limited to:
- psoriasis
- skin rashes
- warts
- cysts
- acne
- actinic keratoses
- skin cancer
- and more
Providers see between 25 and 30 patients per day. The demographic consists entirely of adult and geriatric patients.
The practice uses Modernizing Medicine EMA.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Colorado NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA
- 3 years medical dermatology experience
- 3 years experience seeing 25 to 30 patients per day
- 3 years experience performing biopsies and excisions
- comfort working autonomously with minimal supervision
