Healthcare System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their Orthopedic team.  

• The new Physician Assistant will work directly with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon.
• This position includes both the OR and the clinic.
• This is a very busy doctor that handles mostly spine cases and some general cases.
• The Physician Assistant will be trained to run a parallel clinic to the doctor.
• The Physician Assistant will provide treatment for simple fractures, overuse injuries and work with the orthopedic surgeon on more complex fracture problems.
• Additional day-to-day responsibilities include: injections, removing casts and pins, reductions, first assists, consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting.  
• This doctor will train a new graduate with an orthopedic rotation and a passion for the specialty.
• This position is located in the upstate SC area and is 65 plus miles south of Charlotte, NC. The area has a strong educational system, several colleges and lots of things to do.
• Compensation: Base salary range:  Compensation is very competitive and depends on experience level.
