Summary: Surgical PA with a minimum of 1+ year surgical experience to assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. Must be licensed in Ohio. Coverage for hospital rounding, surgery (elective and emergent), and assistance in clinic.

RATES:
Malpractice Must be included in rates.
Orientation half the hourly/callback rate*** kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Holiday Must be 1.5x the regular rate*** Per holiday hour, no OT
On Call (Daily) *** - *** - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - *** to *** - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
Minimal callback expected
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
12/24/24(7a)-1/7/25(7a)
Facility Location: Trinity Health System
Setting: Acute hospital
Duties: hospital rounding, surgical, and assistance in clinic, also to take call
FTE: 1.0
Required Procedures: CABG, thoracic, vascular, cardiac surgery
EMR: Meditech and eCW
Support Staff: Office Supervisor
Reason for Coverage: Full time PA on vacation

Rental Cars: ***/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.

would the client consider an NP for this coverage need? Because of the surgical need, we prefer to have a PA. We would consider an NP if they are also an RNFA and have open heart surgical experience.
