Physician - Breast Surgeon - TidalHealth

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Breast Surgeon to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical procedures, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, and reconstructive surgeries, US guided breast biopsies and stereotactic biopsies, etc..
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Stay current with advancements in breast surgery techniques and technologies.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical options, risks, and recovery processes.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate and mentor surgical residents through didactic sessions, hands-on training, and clinical supervision.
• Operating privileges at both TidalHealth: Peninsula Regional Hospital and TidalHealth: Nanticoke Memorial Hospital is required.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
• BE/BC in General Surgery.
• Fellowship trained in breast surgery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
