Also known as Intensivists, these physicians are specially trained in the care of patients requiring intensive care. Critical care nurses, respiratory therapists and these Intensivists form a collaborative team whose skill and expertise ensure an optimal level of care for their critically ill patients.Expert assessments and timely interventions have resulted in a faster recovery and shortened stay for patients in the Intensive Care Unit.Key to the patient's recovery in this high-tech and fast-paced environment is the sensitivity and compassion that our staff demonstrates for ICU patients and their families.By having these doctors available around the clock, the our staff can rapidly and effectively respond to every patient's needs if and when an emergency occurs.
