Responsibilities

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Critical Care Physician to join our busy practice for nights Our schedule is 7pm to 7am with a 7 on/14 off schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established practice of physicians who are recognized leaders in pulmonary care in the state of Indiana and region. We have a tenured, highly respected Pulmonary and Sleep consultative practice consisting of an office and three hospitals. Included is a 865?bed hospital with a large closed ICU, a suburban community hospital with a 10 bed ICU, and an 80?bed heart center. Our ideal candidate will be BC/BE, collegial, flexible and open to a variety of schedule requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Admits, consults and provides cross cover for critical care patients.
• Performs applicable critical care procedures.
• Works in conjunction with critical care NP's.
• Supervises and educates residents and fellows.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
