• Schedule: Full-Time; 230 working days/year
• Call Schedule: 10 days per month
• Practice Detail: 2 Physicians, 2 APPs
• EMR System: Cerner / athena

This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

What You Will Do:

Ascension Sacred Heart is looking for a BC/BE Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon in Pensacola, Florida.

 

This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to focus on Thoracic Surgery while also covering Cardiac Call. 

 

Position Highlights:

 

• Ideal for someone who is proficient in Robotic Lung Surgery
• Thoracic focus with some cardiac call
• Strong Cardiovascular program support, including interventional and EP subspecialties along with a structural program.

What You Will Need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
