Geriatric physician with experience in Geriatrics / Long Term Care for a busy, well established practice. Our Geriatricians work in many different settings, including skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Opportunities include a medical directorship and teaching options if interested. Plans are to start an inpatient Geriatrics service and work in collaboration with the Orthopedics team to provide perioperative care in the hospital.

Vision is to eventually start an outpatient Geriatrics clinic.

Call is every seven (7) weeks / one full week at a time.

There are opportunities for teaching geriatric fellows, residents, and medical students from Upstate Medical University, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research. Competitive starting salary, excellent benefits and malpractice insurance provided.
